Dr. Harvey is a Director with Valtrend. Keith is an academic who has substantial real world experience as a credit analyst and account officer in commercial banking, working for Chemical Banking Corporation in Houston, Texas. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Finance in the College of Business Administration at Boise State University.
Qualifications
Keith also has earned the prestigious chartered financial analyst designation (CFA). The CFA designation requires intense study of the following topics: ethics, accounting, economics, equity and fixed income valuation, derivatives, and portfolio management, among other topics. Previous Experience
As alluded to above, Keith was in commercial banking from 1988 - 1996, prior to switching careers into academia. He has been a professor of finance at Boise State University since 2000.

Dr. Harvey parlayed his commercial banking experience into his passion for research. His work has been published in The Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, The Journal of Financial Research, Financial Review, The Journal of Financial Services Research, The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, and The Journal of Real Estate Research. His research in the areas of bank regulation, mortgage markets, and corporate finance has been presented at several national and international academic conferences.
